As stated previously, it was our intent for contest photos to "accurately reflect the subject matter and the scene as it appeared".

We're glad the issues were raised so we could address them.

A lot has happened while I was gone. Great!
I'm glad to see one set of rules has been established for all the contests.
Newbies (Myself included) needed that as we all had missed your discussions about it in February.

FW, where does WG stand on basics like enhancing contrast? Assuming nothing is added or subtracted and keeping in mind much outdoor photography is done in poor lighting conditions.

IMHO-I like the color in the first one better (it is richer looking) but then again the closeness of the second.
