Having trouble adding an event

I'm having trouble adding an event to the calendar. I keep getting this message:

Quote:

Incorrect time chosen. Make sure that a valid from time and to time is set. Make sure to either choose a pre-defined time or set your own.
I don't see a place to set from/to times. The event starts at ten a.m.; I tried just adding that and a couple other things, but it didn't work.
Anyway, it's the annual Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve Native Plant Sale, be there or be square/elsewhere.

Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve > Seed Catalog & Plant Sale > Plant Sales

You chose a recurrent event such as would be the case with a first Monday of every month native plant meeting or an every Monday native plant workshop. The plant sale for those other than members would be a ranged event not a recurrent. May 9-10. The dates for the sale open to the public are in the events calendar.

Yes I understand it's a ranged event; the public sale is from May 9th through the 17th.

I didn't choose "recurrent event", I chose "ranged". I just looked at it again and the pages are very different. There was no choice of recurrence pattern on the page I looked at, and it's not in my browser history. At any rate, it's still not clear to me how one would set the times (10-4 each day but the 8th), but I guess it doesn't matter now that it's listed.

The Spring Native Plant Sale is held on Mother's Day weekend and the following weekend
Would you like to try adding the sale to the following weekend? The times may be set by placing the start time in the top slot and the end time in the slot beneath.

Ok, now I get it, we'll see if that works.

Plants also are available for purchase during the week.
I guess they hype the weekends because more people can (and do) come, but it is all week, too. I really hope I can make it this year.

swamp thing- we're you able to create an entry?

swamp thing 04-22-2009 06:55 PM

I think so; it was submitted and it said it would be approved by admin and then added, but I don't see the listing I added on the calendar.
