Default Rain Garden forum photo change

Hi WC Admin,
Would it be possible to change the photo at the top of the Rain Garden forum? The current one is not representative of what a rain garden is, and is kind of icky, and might turn people off.

I created an Album titled Rain Gardens, would it be possible to replace the photo with one of those? Any of those would be fine. Your choice.

Much Obliged,
SusanBryan

hahaha, OMG Susan is right about that icky swamp picture, a bunch of dead snags in the swamp, while interesting, I sure hope the ADMIN will find a prettier pix.

MUCH better representation! And if what you've planted into it are natives.... even better!!!
I think the existing photo was probably chosen to represent at the time of it's creation, surface water in it's natural state. Makes more sense to have a photo match it's title. For starters...Try contacting direct in the contact us area above then add the link to this thread. That should catch their attention.

Thanks for the advice havalotta! Appreciate your friendly concern. I did send a message via the "contact us" link.

Yes, those are natives. You might recognize the blooming Noddding Wild Onion Allium cernuum, and Penstemon digitalis. Also, the greatest rain garden plant of all time: Iris virginica Blue Flag Iris.

WG Admin has read this thread.

We recently upgraded our Apache server and have been experiencing burps and hiccups. This too shall pass.

The existing anchor photo will ultimately be replaced with a picture from SusanBryan's album. Patience please while we adjust to major changes.

Awesome. Thanks Lorax! Patience is being exercised. I am only too familiar with adjusting to new technology . . .

Anchors for home page are pulled from all over. Lorax decides-

Owl in tree photo on forums/boards index page is permanent-

Wildlife Gardeners - North American Wildlife Gardening

Anchor photo for photo of the month board depends on who wins. All registered members can participate in EllenW's POM contest-

Photo of the Month - Wildlife Gardeners - North American Wildlife Gardening

I'm open to changing anchor photos in other forums. But not this evening.

I've always thought it would be nice to rotate the winning photos up front like that but I missed the fact that they are doing just that as I always go direct into the contests and threads.
