Default avatar help

Someone kindly created a boxturtle avatar for me which I love. I would like to put a cute picture of a wild rabbit there now. I find cute pictures on the internet. How do I resize the photo to use as an avatar? thanks!

DOWN sizing a captured image works out pretty well....
You can open the image up by clicking upon the OPEN label on your top bar. Choose one of the options that pops up to work in.
If you're using paint as I do.... Hit the re-size button on the top left, then the re-size button below that which then enables you to increase OR decrease its captured size. Make sure you increase both the horizontal AND vertical in the SAME increments or it will contort your photo as such.
If, you've made a mistake.... Just hit the edit button then... undo.

Now if you are trying to INCREASE it's size......
You will need to capture the chosen image as large as you can by clicking upon the photo to maximize the image to it's full potential.
SOME photos will not pull in any larger. It all depends upon how large of an image it's owner sent in to wherever you, originally found it. The smaller the photo saved, the more it will blur as you increase its size. Not enough stored info-pixels or whatever in it to blow up clear and proper.

I've often wondered if you can even use someone elses image like that because it really IS theirs.
If and when I add images that aren't mine, I will always mention from where or to whom the original came from or at least mention I can't take the credit for it if I've failed to save the info.

Does anyone have any input on this??? Using someone elses photos?
