Default Flora Hall of Shame Invasive Species Contest

Announcing the Flora Hall of Shame Invasive Species Contest.

We'll run it from February 1st on through the entire month of October.

This is not a non-natives photo contest. The plant has to be an invasive species/noxious weed or on a current list to be approved for Hall of Shame classification.

Not sure if you have a contendor? Post your photo in our 'Help Identifying Plants' forum-

Once you have a photo, post it in the Invasive Flora forum in the associated thread. If a thread does not exist for the species you have photographed you will need to start one.

Winner will receive a signed copy of David Mizejewski's book, 'Attracting Birds, Butterflies, and Other Backyard Wildlife'.

Our member Dmizejewski has contributed a signed copy of his book 'Attracting Birds, Butterflies, and Other Backyard Wildlife' as a prize for Wildlife Gardeners to award to the member who adds the most photos of invasive species.

His book is available for sale from National Wildlife Federation's e-commerce store-
It is also available from Barnes & Noble

About me:
I'm a life-long nature lover who has the amazing fortune to go on TV and radio to raise environmental awareness and share my love of wildlife and nature with millions of people.
You can learn more about David by visiting his MySpace page-

David also maintains a presence at Facebook-

Green Man will send the winner their signed copy of David's book once we count up the photos in the invasive flora forum.
The tendency of man's nature to good is like the tendency of water to flow downwards.

Oh good, subjects that hold still. I might have a fighting chance at winning that book.
