My flowers have gone to the nursing homes.........
I sometimes sell at the farm markets and bring the leftover florals to them to enjoy.

That's you. I know you and you would do that. What do you think the real odds are that excuse for a human being driving the SUV filled to the brim with HIS plants took them to a nursing home???

I'm here now and I heard all of you! I only get to check in on the forums every once in a while, so I just saw all the postings. You all are great! I did finally get over it recently, several years after she did it. I guess as we age, some of us start to calm down a little. I did want to slit all her tires at the time though. Now I just plant stuff and hope for the best. Being in a college town and having townhouses full of college students at the end of your street usually means every Saturday morning I get to pick up beer cans, beer bottles, cig butts and a bra once out of my yard and flower beds. As I get older, I figure some of this is just life and I can't keep fretting over what I can't control.

First post shows you need anchor photos for a new Ecological Service Providers Forum. These are NOT a restoration but a revegetation utilizing locally native species. Photos were taken earlier in the month. You're welcome to them.

They're not what they wanted. They wanted a restoration not a revegetation. I'm working on it. I have... scratch that... had... thousands. I lost them when I lost that new computer. Those photos were from Morton Arboretum. Here's some info on how they went about revegetating the site, Land Management Practices Most of the vegetation you're seeing is marginal. Gotta love the marginals. This is going to be a species diverse site in a coupla years once it gets going. They're actively maintaining it from what I saw. Wetlands are animal magnets.
