How about some Living Lawn Art?

This is Larry the Peacock, isn't he a handsome young fella?
His mom was a webfriend of mine on another site and let me use his pictures for an article I wrote. He's still a very
young peacock, but isn't he beautiful? And I understand a great cat minder.......LOL Anybody that looks that good and can "herd cats" is something else! LOL

Just joined, thanks to an invite from Fearless Weeder.

How on earth did you know that I'd be so very interested in your new forum?
Maybe cause I spent so much time on the gardenweb forum yapping about my quadruplet orphan bear cubs? (hee hee!)

What a great Forum you have here!
A big thanks to those of you who worked so hard to create this forum!

We're psychic

Are you a pauper from trying to keep up with supplementing their diets in the absence of their mother? Have they gone off to hibernate yet? You really should start a whole thread somewhere on the orphans to let others know all that you learned along the way.

Staff-
Oh yes...... MUCH more to come on my orphan bear cub saga. I'll post the "soap opera" of my bear family in another thread so you all can read about it.

doccat5 -
The cubs are about 8 months old in the above photo, and was taken this past Sept.

Psychic...ha ha ha ha! Honestly though, I spent a good portion of the day reading through all the information you have here on this new forum, and it's just amazing. So many of the people who have joined thus far have such impressive backgrounds and experience! I feel so privileged in the hope that I may gleen some knowledge from them.

I was a pauper prior to caring for my orhphan bear cubs, and so yes...I am still a pauper. The cubs caused no financial hardship for me due to me teaching them what to eat in the woods. Hibernation was successful and I'll tell you about it in a separate post in the appropriate forum.

Almost midnight here....a New Year's kiss from Junebear! Oops gotta go and give my hubby a New Year's kiss.
