DSLR Nikon D3400

Taking videos....

Cons...
Will NOT take videos while using the viewfinder!
Will only work using the display screen which is hard to view in the sun!
Does NOT automatically focus before recording! Must focus PREVIOUS to hitting the record button.
Does not automatically REFOCUS when zooming in or moving from one depth to another. (Ex. Person verses an object in the back ground)

Does anyone know if there is an auto focus option for video mode somewhere in its body?

Pros...Worked very well ONCE FOCUSED using the screen if held upon a subject not moving from one thing to another.
Nice sound and clarity capture.

Loading Videos to view upon the computer

Camera to computer would NOT allow me to open the files to view nor load .
Toyed in computer settings and switched to windows live view.
Toyed with camera to computer and located an area that would allow viewing photo AND live files.
Upon changing those two areas I could now upload and view the newly imported videos. Or so I thought!

Video images were VERY fractured!
Hmmmm Perhaps taken in too large of a format????
So... Into the cameras menu I dove and found the area of many options for experimentation.

Camera set at and Videos taken at 1920x1080; 60p were extremely fractured and jumpy!
Taken at 1920x1080;50p were also broken.
Down at 1920x1080;30p The videos worked A-OK without any fracturing.

Camera's now set at what seems to be the highest quality video that this antiquity of a computer will handle. Let the games begin!
