Default Ag Extension Office Makes the Switch

Penssylvania's York County Ag Extension office converted their front grass strips into a native planting educational exhibit.

Nice to see. We're trying to do something similar by the approach road to our county office, Right now, only some very sketchy plans have been proposed...

Great place for such a marvelous visual display.
It shows the public how nice natives actually are..I think most people think natives are mostly weedy and grassy looking. This shows otherwise.
I like how they incorporated an educational sign into the grand theme.

Very pretty. I like it so much more than an expanse of cut turf.

I'm about two years late for this thread, but I was exploring "The Dead Lawn Society" forum for ideas and stumbled upon this. What an amazing side by side comparison. I really love the look how they did the natives--very attractive and accessible to the more traditional folks.

I wonder if Sage could use this to convince her place of residence to do something similar.
