The one my nephew gave me I gave back.... that rebel was too much camera for me. I looked at the manual that came with it and figured forget it. The one I got to replace the one that was crapping out is doing good but.... the one that was crapping out really bit the dust. It went to camera heaven. I'm down to one camera. Problem for me is we've dropped below freezing twice now. That puts a damper on bug photos. I've got a boatload of dragonflies stashed soooooooo.... I'm waiting for you to start your contest so I can whoop you!!!

I gave it back. You woulda done the same thing if you were me. I did think about learning how to use it and bought a second hand book called the Joy of Photography from Good Will. I got bored out of my gourd somewhere around page 10 and decided there'd be no joy in photography for me if I had to learn how to use a digital SLR camera that wasn't fully automatic. I HAVE to have one that's fully automatic so I can point it in the direction of what I want and click. When it comes to anything that's technology related.... I've got the attention span of a gnat. That hi-tech stuff doesn't float my boat. I know.... I know.... I probably shoulda kept it but figured it'd just go to waste sitting here collecting dust like the bamboo thing for my computer. I'm one of those people who gets rid of "stuff" if I'm not gonna use it. Nobody else wanted it either so he can sell it on eBay or something and get some of my brother's money back. It's a really nice camera for somebody who's into that kind of a camera and he only used it for like 6 months before he outgrew it.
