Default What did I find?

I've been canning. I try to keep the house clean but it doesn't exactly cooperate. I looked up and saw an odd shaped leaf 10' off the ground stuck on the wall above a cabinet.

I grabbed my step stoop and a rag to go get it and found out it wasn't a leaf.

I got the little guy down and set him outside. He finally flew away and landed under a gutter.

I love those things, whatever the heck they are. They are amazing and beautiful.

I was thinking "man, she must have been in a whirlwind if a dry leaf got swept up to the top of the cabinet door. . . ."

Was it a moth? It's a great find, whatever it is.

No whirlwinds. We have big slobbering dogs that have showstrings hanging out of their mouths. They shake their heads and things go flying. I figured one of them got a leaf stuck to their hangers then shook their head and it got stuck on the ceiling. I'm always cleaning up hangers. I know its a moth. I got a close up look at it when I was moving it. I don't know what kind of moth it is. Too tired to go look it up.
