OMG.... don't ever be sorry for ANY delay... I'm just happy when you do get online and can identify something. I knew what the beetle on the left was.... thanks for saving me from going through files looking up the scienific name to that. I didn't know what the beetle on the right was but by looking at it... I did sorta think it was probably another long horned flower beetle so thanks!!! Here's some nice "earthy" boots for you to go caving in from me!!!

Those boots were at a yard sale we stopped at. I picked up a leather for sharpening straight edge shaving razors for 1 of my older brothers who.... actually shaves with a straight edge. Anywhoo.... they were so darn cute sitting out in the yard. The guy who had the sale said his wife liked planting in odd ball things. She had a few other pais of boots planted and pitchers and a cigar box. I'm sure there were more oddball planters in their side yard and out front. I got a kick out of her planter choices too!!!
