Default Peregrine falcon attacks snowy owl- pictures

Chicago's hosting of the snowy owls on the lakefront has not been all in the owls favor. There are fierce predatores that live here and must be contended with.

What a sight that must have been. Can you imagine happening upon such a conflict between two such awesome birds. And right on the beach here in Chicago!

A video with more info from Cornell, on the snowy owl and its travels.
