YardMap is a project of the Citizen Science Project. It is a new (in-progress) website designed to create a better understanding of bird habitat.
Quote:
The YardMap Network is a citizen science project designed to cultivate a richer understanding of bird habitat, for both professional scientists and people concerned with their local environments. We collect data by asking individuals across the country to literally draw maps of their backyards, parks, farms, favorite birding locations, schools, and gardens. We connect you with your landscape details and provide tools for you to make better decisions about how to manage landscapes sustainably.

I like this program since you might be able to local properties for the sake of comparison. Something else really cool if you're trying to brainstorm for ideas for what and where you can plant for feathered friends in your own yard when you're working with somebody who isn't close enough to stop in is give out your address so they can plug it into Bing. Bing has 360 shots of a lot of properties. We're talking N, S, E, and W so it makes it a lot easier plugging in plants.

Why am I having trouble finding WHERE to draw the map?

I know Jeff had it opened, found out I already had an account (which strikes us both as weird), and was playing around with labeling the various sections of our property. Now, when I click on the link you provided, I don't see where that is.
