Bummer.... kinda makes you wish you could make pigeon stew, eh? Looks like you walked back to the ruins from that 2nd photo!!! It's a humbling experience being there isn't it?

Well I'm glad to see those! We hardly see anything here. Too open and not much in the natural food department along the bay here with civilization and all I suppose. I planted trees and bushes but all I seem to attract are the Martins and finches in the summer and of course the robins and the rotten sparrows and grackles. None of the pretties either unless a flock of blue jays move in to rob the sunflowers from the finches or the cedar waxwings reaping the cherrys!
