We have a similar situation at the University of Buffalo where Peregrine falcons nest in a tower at the heating plant. The parents are particularly anxious for a week or so after fledging as they can't really keep track of all their kids. Roof workers at UB and the nearby VA get some up-close-and-personal lessons. Wear hardhats in the vicinity of raptor nests!!! Though Roger and I haven't been bothered during our years photographing them. Go figure. I think they got to know us and our car when they weren't nesting and learned we are not a threat. Raptors are wild.
