camera2 Great Egret - Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge

We had a nice sunny May morning so I ventured out to see how the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge has changed since the dikes were breached and the new boardwalk was built.

While there I came across this Great Egret, which, come to find out, is uncommon in the Puget Sound Region. The 4+ mile hike was the first since chemo started - needless to say it wore me out and I'm payin' for it today. But the Egret images were worth it!!!

Excellent shots. Great to hear you are getting out. Hope you aren't paying too much for it...and hope you get out more often with it getting easier each time.
