Snow is pretty, if you don't have to shovel it or drive in it. We only got a dusting, too. Actually, snow blankets plants and protects them.

Oh, believe me I know! The older I get the less I like it. I'm often the first to complain about winter or snow...but I do try to remember to enjoy the beauty of it--much easier to do when you are safe at home and know that those you love are too.
I was kinda just ribbing bridget a little. ![]() Yes, it does. I remember learning that from my father when I was young. Strange the lyrics to a song come to mind: Honey (a song I got to know from the radio station my father used to listen to) ...a line from it bothers me because of that: "See the tree how big it's grown...when she planted it it was just a twig...she brushed the snow away so it wouldn't die." I still like the song and tear up if I ever hear it. ...btw, I'm kind of infamous for getting of topic. ![]() |
