Ahhh, not quite the tail of a whale. It is the tail of a dolphin.

It has that fat tail part or "peduncle" where the tail fluke is attached to the body that made me think of pilot whales. Orcas and pilot whales are in the same family (Delphinidae) as oceanic dolphins, so it's kind of a grey area with the common names whale/dolphin. That's my story, anyway.

Ok, here's a real easy one. It's the closest thing I have to a mystery bird butt picture, but you can ID the tree for extra credit:
