The sight I use doesn't show that unless you open it up to view the range, females etc...
It would be much easier if male and females were right up front for comparison as many of the brown females look so similar.

What a perfect picture of the killdeer, a bird that has always had a special place in my heart.

All are great pics, but the 1st and 3rd are exceptional.

Oh oh oh!!!! Love the little green heron!!! Those are some of my favorites. Wish we got to see more of them.

I thought the last one in Post 145 was a green heron until I noticed the striping on its breast and its legs had the bitterns coloration.
