You take the coolest pictures ever! I did not notice the carp at first. I had to smile when I saw the oriole eating your cherries! Where was the white pelican photo taken?? Such a huge, majestic bird, aren't they? I have only seen them a few times, always in Florida.

There are usually about five in this nest but I think some have fledged already. The parents didn't even come to harass me when I got this close as they have other times. I hope they haven't become Peregrine food!

I misidentified this one as being a redpole. It is a....... ![]() House Finch (Carpodacus mexicanus) THIS would be the.... ![]() Common Redpoll (Acanthis flammea) ![]() Eastern phoebe (Sayornis phoebe) ![]() Cedar Waxwing (Bombycilla cedrorum) I need a little help on I.D.ing these.... ![]() Possibly northern waterthrush (Seiurus noveboracensis) or female redwings (Agelaius phoeniceus)

Thank you... I was wrong in both of my guesses.
![]() I was focusing on the lighter striping on their faces... Is there an online guide that shows BOTH the male and females of the species SIDE BY SIDE. The sight I use doesn't show that unless you open it up to view the range, females etc... It would be much easier if male and females were right up front for comparison as many of the brown females look so similar.
