This contest has collected some fantastic bird photos all in one thread. Wow! Tineckbone- Your bird take off photo should be called, "ready, set, go!" And your Eagle photo...what a great capture with your camera. It feels so inspirational! |

Thanks BooBooBearBecky! The "Ready, Set, Go" picture was a surprise to me when I saw the image after the shot. I was taking several shots of them as they were all taking off, thought it was pretty cool the way I captured tres cormorants. The Eagle photo was taken during a cruise to watch the mass migration of the Purple Martins. While everyone was watching them, I was watching the Bald Eagle! ![]()

Nice series of Trumpeter Swan (Cygnus buccinator) photos. Trumpeter Swan Photo #2 in your series could have been posted in the "Guess Which Bird Butt This Is thread. ![]() The Swans all lined up with their rumps on the surface of the water look as though they are mooning us! ![]() |
