I'd probably be arrested if I searched out that eagle nest. It is on private property. I've searched the shoreline as far as my boat can go and can't see the nest. I know it's close because I can hear them when I'm in my boat and I can see the general direction they fly in when they leave their sunset roost. I've caught the juveniles in a dead tree and have watched the adults and juveniles fly from that dead tree out of sight but close enough to hear. I've also seen Mom and Dad carrying prey to this general location and then reappearing without that prey. Normally when it's not nesting season they'll land in the closest suitable tree and chow down. I'd love to get my Wingscapes Birdcam up there somewhere... |

Here is a pair of Bald Eagles bringing a Canada Goose gosling to the nest for it's nearly fledged young. In the last photo look directly below the gosling and you can see the eaglet in the nest.
