Thanks to everyone in this thread for all the great info. I will be putting up a bluebird house in my yard this year. I have been fortunate in not having either English House Sparrows or Starlings around my yard in many years. But I will be keeping a close watch for any that show up. If they do show up, they will be dealt with.
