Default A first for me. Wood duck

This is the first photos I have managed to get of wood duck. Managed a shot of a pair together also.

I was rather pleased that I managed to get a couple of shots by itself as there were lots of mallards around.

Wood ducks have such gorgeous coloring they almost look fake - like a work of art instead of a living animal.
