Default Lots of Great Blue Heron pics.

I see theGt Blues most days and they give me a variety of photo ops. This one was just as it decided to leave.

You have taken an exceptional picture of the heron.

We don't get a lot of snow so I had to grab the chance I got with the heron.

Beautiful pics, Sage! So funny to me, to see him in the snow. Coming from Louisiana, I always thought of them as southern birds, living only in the heat. I was obviously wrong.

Sage baby... the last one is choice. Your heron in snow is choice too Kildale.

I never seen heron in the winter. I assumed they migrated.
(Go to bookcase. Get Field Guide to Birds. Look up Herons, pg 50.)
Well according to my bird book, they are year round natives to Indiana.
Learn something new every day.

Great pictures, folks.
