I will certainly keep my eyes peeled and tongs ready!

You can retrieve entire skeletons of frogs and mice from the pellets and reassemble them.

"And...............................? " And what... they look like cat hairballs. There's not much else you can do with them unless you want to gross out guests and toss them around on the floor for yucks. See guest jump... see guest run... see guests look at you like you've lost your mind when they find out their owl pellets. If you're real nice to me I'll share some with you for your grandson and I'll even help him take some apart. This is one of the coolest things a kid can do. I'm running a class on owl pellets in spring. I'm going to try and get my hands on as many as I can before then. biig> you have a grandson too... you should try to set some aside for when he's older. It's fun to take them apart. He'll end up with a 3D frog or mole puzzle. Use glue and they can display them on a dresser in their room. I'm telling you these owl pellets are much better for kids then collecting McDonalds happy meal junk.

Heyyyy, sometimes the smileys work, and sometimes it posts links to them. . .I dunno

Yes, I would share an owl pellet with the grandson, if for no other reason than to watch his mom turn inside out. But, alas, I don't know where to find owl pellets, or even owls, for that matter.
