This eagle was battling a sharp-shinned hawk over whatever the hawk had before he dropped it. The hawk was just in front of the eagle but not quite in the frame of the shot. The eagle had braced himself....as if to say...come on, hit me....I won't budge.

Bloopers??? I have a good one from today. These are mute swans I wanted to add to the invasive fauna forum. I got distracted looking at goslings while clicking.

You asked for chickens. You get chickens.

These are photos of my faithful subjects. They don't belong to me. They are faithful to anyone who feeds them or talks nice to them. They are owned by a lady down the road.

They are all tame. Their grandchildren come over during the week and have been handling them since they were little. You can pick almost every one of these chickens up and hold them in your lap like a cat. They'll follow you around like dogs and run faster to keep up with you.
