Default Another Snowy Owl!

I believe three Snowies have been officially reported at Batavia Airport so we went there again and saw two. Here is one>

owl

Another shot but I'm not sure if it's the same or another bird. It appears they are immature, and could be family.

The Snowies are so beautiful! The weather has been so bad tip today which was taken up with appointments, but I hope we can go find more tomorrow! They may have moved farther south with these below zero temps around here! Many geese flying overhead today because they can't find a field to land in.

Oh, and checking one of the Peregrine nest sites today and here are Gleig and Diamante on Central Terminal enjoying the moonlight. Can you find them?

I guess I should post some pics of fine feathered friends here!
As I previously mentioned in a post elsewhere, I spent the Dec/Jan holidays in se Arizona. It is always fantastic birding there. Here are a few photos form that trip.

Sage, I love your snowy owl photos. I've never seen one (yet!), but one of these days, I'll be in the right place at the right time. This bird nerd is envious (in a good way )
