Me too. If I hadn't caught that I probably wouldn't have posted any of these.

I'm getting a kick out of the photos telling a story... you can see they're not sharing well...

This isn't too clear as it is a cropped segment from a much larger image, but I think that it is an immature red-tailed hawk with a vole under its left foot.

And what a wonderful meal the little hawk will have this evening.

Default Ruffed Grouse (Bonasa umbellus)

(copied from Feathered Friends & Foes contest)
I was fishing at Wachusett Reservoir today. As I started to leave, this Grouse popped out of the nearby woods. Of course I dropped my fishing gear and grabbed my camera. As I took pictures of her she moved closer and closer to me. When I squatted down to get a better angle, she came close enough to me that she actually pecked my hand! I assume she had a nest nearby. As I stood up and backed off, she followed me for quite a ways until, I suppose, she figured she had me cowed.
Here is the link to my Flickr set with videos of her backing me off and vocalizing for me. I couldn't embed them without putting them on YouTube so I had to link 'em. Ruffed Grouse at Wachusett Reservoir - a set on Flickr
There are a few other pics of her there as well as a few other sets of interest (I hope). Enjoy.

VERY nice!
I can't believe a wild bird would come so close.
Good vocals too!
