That egret was so far away! I shot it with the equivilent of 856mm zoom, and then cropped it!

chickadee Grosbeak

Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Pheucticus ludovicianus


This handsome male grossbeak was visiting my bird feeder a few days ago. I've never had grossbeaks at my bird feeder until this summer. He was with a mate, but my photo of his girlfriend turned out sorta crappy so didn't upload it. Hope to get a chance for more photos.
