Default Annsa's hummingbirds.

They stay the year round and with the leaves gone, they are a little easier to photograph. Amazing how the colors change as they move about.

It's amazing that they stay there all year round. It is cold where you are. I would love to have hummers here all the time

Pretty lil things. Same as your avatar...
Pretty cool how you can see each and every feather overlapping one another like that on its face...
Must be edged in a darker color to delineate them as such.

Such beautiful little birds! (And what great photos!)

I fell in love with Vancouver Island years ago--it has to be one of the world's most beautiful places.
