Default A few bushtits

I have had a lot of bushtits coming to the deck for a few years now, the strange thing is the water dishes. I have 7 dishes, each about 4 feet from the next one going around the deck, and they only ever use one. There can be 8 birds in this 7 inch saucer with others above them, and they still don't go in the other dishes.

i see the signs of the draught you mentioned in the picture. Those birds are focused on getting the most out of that drinking/bathing experience. They're fortunate to have you keeping the water supply filled!! Nice picture!

Here is a bushtit's nest. They enter through an opening in the side near the top.
