I just had a look at the count for Wisconsin and I see that one of my friends was the top ebirder for my local area.

This year I was just too focused on other stuff to get into the bird count, but next time I'm going to have to set the time aside to participate.

It is nice to see PA in the top three!

I was enthused the first two days, but after that, with no larger numbers...or new species, I kind of lost my interest too.

I came in second in my county. I was in first for awhile my 5 year old thought it was super cool because he was "helping" me count birds. Now I'm obsessed with Ebird after seeing all the top lists from the state I'm shooting for 200 species I'm currently at 43 since I decided to start a fresh list after discovering my new obssesion

Very cool! Yes even super cool.

I guess I should explore the site more. I didn't realize they ranked those who submit lists.
