A couple years ago we discovered bat living in our soffit,so i made a bat box for them,Within 2weeks wasps had taken it over.So cut some ceder(i use ceder to make traditional arrows for archery)into planks and made the same box out of it.The bats are happy in there home without the wasps bugging them

What great photos! There are screech owls right in downtown Chicago...I saw(and heard!) quite a few of them while I was living there.
