No comprendo. What's with a hat?

They were sitting together this morning on the top shelf where they nested last year. Very cute!

I sent roger looking for what I referred to as brick brackets but I must have imagined them! The only thing the hardware stores could come up with were $20 for a specific use.

And it's probably just to wintery yet for a nest. V.cold, snowy, no sun, yuck.

I'm assuming she is suggesting that the doves would use inside of the hat as a base to build their nest.

They just drop a few twigs on the wicker shelf! They just came back for their afternoon visit.

This morning, the pair decided to build their nest on the top of the bookcase not one of the shelves which would have made it easier to watch the progress! Will post pix later!

Oh! They were both up there when we left home this morning so as soon as I got back home, I ran to peek out the door, and they left no sign, not a twig, nothing! I don't even see the twigs he brought in earlier!
