The Missouri Department of Conservation’s (MDC) Runge Conservation Nature Center in Jefferson City invites the public to discover nature and follow the story of our smallest bird as it prepares for fall migration at Hummers of Summer program from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug.

The free public event will include banding of hummingbirds, a hummingbird interpretive walking trail, discovery tables, crafts, refreshments and other activities of interest to young and old alike.
