That is not a local Hummingbird, that was on an island called Dominica. Pronounced (Domineeca).

I see...so you only see the ruby throated around you?

I surely didn't expect to see bald eagles around here when I glimpsed my first on ~4 years ago. I'm so glad we do...and that I see them on occasion.

He did pose nicely, didn't he? Actually, I was just clicking madly while he hopped around, hoping to catch any views at all. I went back yesterday with another friend and there were three of them, funnily enough all around a large cloud of gnats! They wouldn't sit still to pose, though! The teal seem to feel the same way...
