To fulfill our mission, the Land Trust Alliance has worked for more than 25 years with the national conservation community - comprised of 1.5 million dedicated land conservation professionals, volunteers and supporters - to quickly, effectively and permanently save our most valued natural resource across America.


Vision
The Land Trust Alliance believes that if we focus our combined efforts to increase the pace, quality and permanence of conservation, we can turn the tide and ultimately change the way the land development takes place in America.

Chicago is lucky to have many participants in land preservation. I like the Neighbor Space site and the photo gallery showing how the community gardens look and how many uses they have. It is good to have and organization helping these gardens have some permanence.
