I don't know about a commune..but imagine how much larger our native habitats would be collectively.

I got a bit worked up there. Sorry
I don't drink coffee...but would definitely need sugar if I did...but I do like sugar in my tea--even better: maple syrup (for hot tea). I don't drink a lot of ice tea, but, I do like it sweet. Jeff switched from Pepsi to ice tea (years ago), and he has mentioned weaning himself off of it and onto unsweetened. One thing we did notice once, I compared the nutrition label of regular and sweet tea--I was shocked that the sweet tea had less sugar in it than the regular (I don't remember which brand).

Equil talked about a WG community. My other nature group talks about it too. It would nice to live in a community of nature lovers. I feel very thankful for this group and facebook to be able to be in touch with other nature lovers.

I DO imagine that....almost daily. How awesome would it be to live in a neighborhood of like minded folks. Imagine the birds, animals and bugs we would share our space with!

I'm a bit "funny" about tea. I must have my iced tea UNsweet but I will sometimes (often, actually) add a bit of raw honey to hot tea. I don't buy very many bottled teas. Hubby drinks them occasionally. I think he buys Lipton Pure Tea - just tea. No sweeteners in there - just water, tea, and some caramel coloring (not sure why tea isn't pretty enough without the coloring?). I love real maple syrup and a little milk in coffee!

Maple syrup in coffee, now that's a new one to me!

I mostly drink plain water. On rare occasions I'll drink iced tea. Jeff drinks pretty much only ice tea (Pure Leaf also, but with sugar)...better than when he drank mostly Pepsi.

I'm glad you can relate to the maple syrup...next time you have hot tea and can't find the boney...or want something different, try the real maple syrup.

Hmmm....I should probably make some hot tea and syrup before the winter is over.

Try the tea. I have an aversion to coffee that I don't even think maple syrup could fix.

Talking Knowledge is Power

The most benifical inscects are the most fericous looking: Having names like loins, dragonflies, and praying mantis. Bt is very deadly to catterpillers of both butterflies and Moths. Very few tomatoes aren't sprayed with BT and the result is hornworm cats never pupate to Sphinx Moths.

You're like minded until you aren't. And that can cause problems.

I ran into moth person last year who was not real happy with me because I was trying to get eggs from moths. You're just supposed to take pictures of moths, not bother them. Sorta reinforced that I'm really a caterpillar person.
