Default Inter tidal walk

Had a great outing last year with the top marine people at the Museum. Just noted this section here so I would like to add a few pics. Rainbow Star.

Here are some other images from my walk. One star fish is unknown at the time, a guy is working on it on Friday Harbor WA. The museum asked for permission to use one of the shots of it. You can see all the young ones around it.

Kildale, those are outstanding photos. I can see why a museum was interested--what I can't understand is why they were interested in only one!

The interest was because as yet it is unknown, wether they found out if it is a new species or something just new to this area I'm not sure.

There are a lot of hermit crabs along the shore line and they are interesting to watch.
