I have asked if this is OK to post to a couple of admin people and had no reply. Havalotta said she thought it would be OK. This is one of 10 or 12 of these shows that I have put together with my images. So have a look at Life at Sea and then some posted elswhere.

Love the starfish and her young, and that baby seal all sprawled out is priceless!
I've seen those fragile stars... I never knew they were still considered a star as they move about more quickly than the others I've seen. LOVED the show! It's so informative and includes MANY of their proper names. Did you look them up or are you knowledgeable in the aquatics? Do the Lewis moon snails drill into rocks too? If so, I've a few displays of their work in my rock and mineral collection. The Wrinkled Amphissa is pretty!!!! I love it's colors. That's one I wouldn't mind having in my beach pickings collection. The sugar kelp photo was interesting too!

Hi. When I go on outings I do go with the top people around. I get all the correct names from them. I do have guide books in all the topics though. All of the images in my website have both names, although some fungi etc. do not have a common name. The lewis snail as far as I know only drills through shells to get to the animal.

Thank you for strolling along the beach. I'm working on part two. Have a lot of others but not sure where to post them.

Just a few more images of sea life. This I reckon would be part two if you saw the first set. Just click More Marine Life
