Yup.

I bought one a long time ago. I didn't know what it was, or anything about it. It just looked nice.

And, yes, it is the single most attractive plant in the area. It is absolutely swarming with bees of all description, and mantises, and all sorts of things.
I am now aware that it's not native, but a) I have nothing to put in its place, and b) it's so popular I have problems killing it. I think I am just going to move it on to one of the neighbour's gardens as a gift! The middle ground...
