Default Native insects, native plants

This morning I read a couple of entries to a blog that brought home, once again, the importance of growing native plants in our gardens. While each years weather patterns may vary greatly there is much more likelyhood of the survival of early emerging insects if a community of native plants are available to be affected by the same pattern.

As for the predator insects, they play an important part in a biologically diverse habitat.
Biodiversity in the garden as well as the greater ecosystem provides the backup system for life itself.

Please read and see if you agree.
