10:36 AM Jun 15, 2009 Bulletin message From Pungh0li0
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/Hummingbird-Nest-Cam:
"I spoke with the Hummingbird Rescue person this morning. She says Jewel's wings have grown nicely and now extend to her tail. She is flapping away and getting plenty of lift and should be flying around soon and learning to feed herself. She is being hand fed fruit flies and is eating well. Lisa says she has no doubt Jewel will be released into the wild and asked me to call back in about 2 weeks for an update. Lisa works under the Wetlands & Wildlife Care Center Wetlands & Wildlife Care Center."
don't know yet if things just naturally moved along, or if something more aggressive was needed.

Houston, we have lift(off)!
